Incase you all are wondering, we are all still alive, we have been on what Corrine and I have been calling our training for the “Amazing Race”. Since the last post we have visited another island, taken 3 plane flights, have traveled to 5 or 6 cities (not including how many we have driven through). Have eaten way too much food(Corrine is going to post everything we have eaten, and what it was once we get back to Ohio), played on several beaches, swam in much water, quite warm. Shopped at many places, even visited a prison, so what else can we say about a 14 day journey half way around the world. Anyway, we will post more once back in the US, with lots of pictures, and many more stories to tell. :)

Today we traveled to The underground river, we can’t remember how long
the river is but we took a 1.3km trip on the river. The journey to
and from the river was quite an experience some paved and several
unpaved roads. Actually on our trip back to the hotel, after enjoying
the river our van got stuck in the mud in some of the really bad ruts.
Luckly there was a truck, coming the otherway so he helped pull, us
out, since he couldn’t get by without helping us anyway, we were
blocking the whole road. So we are again sitting finishing our dinner
while working oon this, so I better finish before our food gets cold.
Ohh we actually got pictures up, so make sure you click on the photo
gallery link above.

We made it! After what I have to consider the world’s longest
flight(17hrs from LAX) we arrived in Manila. After spending our first
day of visiting Corrine’s college, and then having a great party at
the folk’s house we have left Manila and are currently finishing our
dinner at the restaurant in our hotel, in Puerto Princessa, in Palawan
an island south west on Manilla. We spent the day exploring Porto
Princessa, and tomorrow we will begin our “official” touring. Hope to
post picks for you all to see, but the internet, on my palm pilot is a
little slow. later
