The Adventures of Don and Corrine

We went to an awesome Miami Hockey Game tonight.  Miami played Ferris State, and it was a hard fought battle, and after regulation the game was tied, so it went to a 5 minute sudden death overtime. And since we still couldn’t score during that, the game went to a shootout.  It was an exciting way to end the game.  Each team gets 3 penalty shots to score, adn whoever has the most goals after that wins.  Well they kinda win, I think it actually goes down in the books as a tie, but it is quite exciting to watch a shoot out.

When we went to the Miami vs. OSU game at the beginning of the season, there was also a shoot out that night, and we didn’t win the shootout, but it that was still a good game.
