After a fun year last year, where we grew Tomatoes and Green Peppers, we have decided this year that we want to expand our garden. We want to grow, bean, peas, squash, zucchini and maybe even some spinach. I have also been talking to Paul and he and Melissa, would like to grow some veggies to, and I think Rob and Annie, also would like to grow some food. So with that in mind, and the fact that we are currently using have of the space that we dug up last year for our tree nursery. I spent some time last night tilling the land. (I felt like a farmer
) So here is the expanded garden after a few passes last night, I definately need to make a few more passes, to break down the soil more, and a few more times, to add in the peat moss, and maybe some compost, but we are well on the way to have a big garden.

The picture on the left is the one of the space we tilled for last year, after I tilled last night, the picture on the right, is how much new area I tilled last night. So we are more then doubling the garden space. Now we just need to figure out how we are going to keep away the dear..

We had a fun weekend, this past weekend. We went to Cleveland to spend time with Sharmaine, and to go to Courtnee’s Wedding, outside of Cleveland. It was a good time. We stopped by Columbus on our way up, to pick up May, and we took her with us. Once we got to Cleveland, we went out had dinner then went and saw IronMan, it was pretty good. Then Sunday we were to church with Shao, then headed off to the wedding, which was about 40 mintues east of Cleveland. It was an outdoor wedding, so it was a pretty nice day for that. Then after dinner and everything we headed back to Sharmaine’s for the evening.
The next morning we headed out to Columbus, to try and find May some wedding shoes. But, before we got to Columbus, we had to stop at GrandPa’s Cheese barn. We then progressed down to Colubus, to find some shoes that went with her wedding dress. I think May and Corrine had a lot of fun looking for shoes.
Here are a few pictures from the wedding…

So May wanted to go see her fiance in Toronto last weekend, so we decided to go to.. So I took of Friday from work, drove Corrine to work Friday morning, she worked a half day while I hung out at Panera, and did some work, and then ran some errands. And then at noon we began our journey north. We stopped in Columbus to pick up May, since she was the reason we were going to Canada, and began our drive. We arrived in Toronto, at Glenn’s house around 10:30. We hung out around the house with Glenn and then went to bed early the next morning.
The next day was a busy day. We got a great tour of the city, saw a lot of the city, walked a whole lot, and I even got to see my cousin Mark & his wife Charlene, and their son.
It was a nice day. Here are a few pics, from the trip, there are more but you have to click on the pictures to see the rest.

Then Sunday, we made the trip back to Oxford. But since we were in Canada, we decided to take a slight detour by way of Niagara, It wasn’t the clearest of days for a trip outside, it was raining and it was a little chilly, but it was cool to see the falls. I think we will definitely have to make a trip back sometime.

We then had a nice lunch there in Niagara, and then drove the way home.. So hope your weekend was a nice as ours was…

So, this past weekend Corrine & I decided to go out and visit Mike, Kris and Jacob down in Louisville, so we drove down there Saturday morning, and spent the day there. It happened to be Derby Weekend, so we watched the derby which was kinda fun. So we spent the day with them, it was a lot of fun. Once Corrine and I, left their house we just headed up through Indiana and found a place to spend the night.
We then spent Sunday in South Eastern Indiana. We spent the morning in Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge, that was a lot of fun. We saw lots and lots of birds and other animals.
(Snakes and a what looks like a whole family of Turtles out sunning themselves.) After a hike and a driving tour, we decided to head north, to a little town called Columbus. Not the Columbus, Ohio, but Columbus Indiana. We took a architectural tour of Columbus, it was neat, there was some interesting architecture in that city.
This 5 column structure, is a memorial for the veterans that have served in a war, that have lived in the county that Columbus is in. Once the tour was over, we spent a little more time in Columbus, then drove over to Dayton, OH, to pick John up from the airport. It was definately a fun weekend.
What can I say, the weather was nice, we spent time with my sister, my brother-in-law, and my nephew, and I spent time, with my lovely wife, we spent time in the country, and in a city, and we even learned things. That was just in 2 days…
