Corrine and I went to her office party on Saturday and had a wonderful time. It was great, we got dressed up, (I can clean up now and again) and Corrine looked wonderful. We had fun, and that was whats important. Right? We didn’t win any prizes, but maybe next year we’ll get a really good one…

Well,
I don’t really know who reads this, if anyone at all, but I haven’t written since June, so I thought that I should. It’s been a busy 3 months… I got back from that weekend with Corrine, then I went to Trek the next week, which was awesome. And the month of July kinda just flew bye..
Then August, which I have to say was a truely awesome month. Corrine and I got married on August 12 at Oxford Bible Fellowship here on campus, and then we headed off to the Smokey Mountains for our Honeymoon. Once we got back we headed off to Cleveland to see Corrine’s family off to the airport, and then we came back to Oxford, to start work.
And then from there it has just been moving, (Corrine is officially moved into the House) and having fun in our new pool. (Some really awesome friends, fixed our pool, and cleaned and stained our deck while we were gone on our honeymoon).
I think we are going to move from weekly pool parties, to weekly bonfires, so that should be fun…

Corrine & I went down to Tennessee to help set up for Trek last weekend, it was a short weekend, but it was fun. We drove down late Friday and arrived at the Clay’s house in TN around 1am. Woke up the next morning, after we slept on the porch (the doors were locked, except for 1 that I forgot about), had a nice breakfast cooked by Bill, and just fellowshiped for a few hrs, then headed off to get some work done, and begin the setup of Trek. After the kids began to arrive, I began to be the shuttle man, shuttling either gear or kids, from the mainland to the island.
Once everyone had gotten to the island, Corrine and I decided to go get some dinner, but before that we decided to go back to the Clay’s house, grab a shower, and then head to dinner. So we found this place at Sulfer Spring Marina, that was supposed to have some good seafood, so we checked them, out, they were OK, no extroadinary seafood, but some pretty good fish. Once we had a nice relaxing dinner, we headed back to the island for the campfire, and then headed back to the mainland so we could sleep and then head out the next morning, to head back to Oxford.
We eventually left TN around 11ish, for our return trek to Oxford, I had the wonderful opportunity to drive the Pleasant VIneyard Short bus from TN to Oxford, it was a nice drive, but I was definately glad when it was over.
Check out a few pictures here.
